About This System
The Automatic Iron Oxidizer (AIO) is a reliable, chemical-free solution for removing iron, hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell), and manganese from Colorado well water.
The AIO system works by injecting a pocket of compressed air into the top of the media tank. As water flows through this air pocket, the dissolved iron and sulfur are oxidized and fall out of solution. The greensand media bed then captures these oxidized particles, and the system automatically backwashes to flush them away.
No chemical feed pump, no chlorine, no potassium permanganate — just simple, effective air injection that regenerates automatically on your schedule.
